2024 Provincial Election Forum

The Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce (GVC) and Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre (VDPAC) are co-hosting an election forum for all registered candidates in Vernon-Lumby riding for the October 19th provincial election.

GVC General Manager Dan Proulx will moderate the forum, with GVC members being polled for questions, and questions can be submitted at the forum. Questions will not be taken from the floor during the event.

The three candidates running in the riding have confirmed participation

• Kevin Action - independent (formerly BC United)
• Dennis Giesbrecht - BC Conservative Party
• Harwinder Sandhu - BC New Democratic Party

The forum takes place at VDPAC, Saturday, October 5^th from 2:00 to 3:30 PM and will be open to the public. For those unable to attend in person a live stream will be made available.

“It is important voters have the opportunity to hear from all the candidates, before making a decision and the GVC is pleased to facilitate the democratic process,” GVC President Kirndeep Nahal said.
