Nature Neighbours Day is a one-day, outdoor, family-friendly event that brings together a wide range of local nature, environment, outdoor recreation and community organisations in one place. Visitors will be able to: • Wander around information and activity booths from local groups • Join short, informal talks and demonstrations about the local environment • Take part in hands-on activities for children and adults • Explore the Centre’s trail, new enlarged pond and the amazing views from our look out • Kids can if they wish try our simple “Nature Passport” style challenges We created the day so that people of all ages can discover “who’s doing what” in the Okanagan around nature, wildlife, outdoor activity and community action, without having to track everyone down separately.
