North Okanagan Heritage Field Trip

Friday, August 7: Heritage Field Trip to Allan Brooks Nature Centre. Be a tourist in your own town or take summer guests on a field trip to learn more about the natural history and heritage of our area at Allan Brooks Nature Centre. Take in the panoramic sweeping view of the North Okanagan and all three lakes. Walk the grassland trails and find out more about the native plants, birds and animals of our area. Learn a bit about the history of the Commonage Area, Allan Brooks, and the Syilx people who are indigenous to this area. Suggested donation of $10 adult, $5 child/student/senior. Register through www.vernonmuseum.ca and meet at Allan Brooks Nature Centre, 250 Allan Brooks Way, Vernon BC.
