Friday, August 14: Heritage Field trip to Fintry Estate & Manor. Be a tourist in your own area or take summer guests on a beautiful summer drive, winding along the west side of Okanagan Lake to Fintry Estate and Manor. Learn the fascinating history of families and personalities who created a thriving estate serviced only by boat and sternwheeler. Take a small group tour inside the manor to glimpse into quirky luxuries of the past, including a bizarre and impressive taxidermy collection of animals from around the world. Suggested donation of $10 adult, $5 child/student/senior.
